I have a Pentium D 820 and the stock sink barely keeps it cool enough at stock speeds. I would like to overclock a little and want suggestions on a better heatsink.
Preferably under 50$

I really need one with the air coming from the top because of the way the case is.

Also would like to know if the Zalman 7700 will work on a asus p5wd2 premium

Thermaltake Big Typhoon
SunBeam Tuniq 120
Scythe Ninja

Those are the top 3s in my book.

Honerable mentions: Zalman CNPS9500, Thermalright SI-120, Thermalright XP-90, Artic Cooling Freezer 64

Edit: You may get better answers if you ask in Case and Cooling forum. Indeed, you should just use search function. There are tons of threads regarding HSF choices.

nah u should be fine with a ram chip heatsink, those 820's run cool ya know :p
j/k

Sonic tower is not too bad, if u stick 2 fans on it it will cool pretty well, i just have a 120mm on the side of it and a 80mm in the middle, that is if u can mount it on ur mobo without interference from the ram.

There is another one which is almost like sonic tower, something tynic tower?, has a 120mm fan built into the middle, that apparently did better than big typhoon and all the rest of those heatsinks.
