I know that in the past employers tended to not take well to online degrees for a number of reasons. Degree mills and less quality of education being 2 of the big concerns. But from what I have read the quality of education(assuming you like the way its done, meaning you read, learn then test, with no techer holding your hand)is the same. While degree mills are still a problem, I would think that if you have accredidation info and whatnot, that shouldn't be a problem.

I pretty much already know the answers I am gonna get, and which option I will choose, but wanted some other opinions anyways.

Here is what I would be taking and at what school.

This would be the online degree obviously, since I am in Ohio. It is more geared towards the secuirty area, which is the area I would like to get into. But it is an online degree.

For now I am only gonna be getting my associates, either way, with a good chance of going back later for a bachelors, probablly to a better school though.

If you know a bachelors degree is in your future then go get your associates from the community college. Maybe others here who has experience with online courses can help you out so here's a bump.
