Just finished installing a couple of 512MB sticks of Crucial Ballistix RAM I got off ebay..

They're only 400Mhz DDR1, but it's made quite a difference to game play..

I just ran the Lost Coast video stress test and got the following results:

1.5GB 266Mhz - 35.75fps
1.0GB 400Mhz - 50.01fps

This is in Vista 64-bit (I'm getting horrible fps speeds because my CPU is slow (3500))..

But I think I might have to find another couple to make it 2GB.. not bad..

Yeah, the Athlon 64's would probably benefit alot from fast low-latency RAM. 2GB will help for sure I'd say.
