What with all of the Far Cry threads all of a sudden?

It seems like this board has been flooded with posts about this CrapyWare (or whatever the company name was) game. Listen, the game sucks, it sucked 8 months ago, don't waste your time and money on it.

Yes! This is a thread to stop the proliferation of future threads. I may have to post one more FC thread, but if I stop 500 more from being posted, then I have acieved my goal.

Far Cry is a totally awesome game... I was so sick of the single-player linear modes of FPS games until Farcry came out and made me still feel free in a huge map while keeping a nice linear story line..

The graphics are absolutely amazing. If the trees just swayed a bit more in the wind and there was more 'resistance' and sound effects when running through the plants, the game would be ridiculous.. But the weapons kick ass, the AI kicks ass (for once, decently hard AI), the levels kick ass, the graphics, terrain, story, .. .. ..

I dunno how you could say it sucks.. I mean.. what's a better FPS with the same style?

I just got into FarCry about a week ago, I love it. Best FPS I've played since Call of Duty.

After I finish FarCry it's time for CoD: United Offensive...and then Halo 2, then HL2!
