I like a 1200 series cisco AP connected to the network myself. Ultrareliabe and great security features. Only time I ever have to reboot is when dropping a config on it, and when changing configs to ckip+cmic w/a certain set of other features.

VERY nice AP, but I'd actually go for the 1230 AG AP. But when you are talking about either one of those, you're looking in the ~$700 price range. If you want something cheap and pretty dang nice, check out Linksys' WRT54GC. I've had this thing for a short while now and LOVE it! It is SUPER small, no antennas (but it does have the option to add one) and has been really reliable. You can pick one up for around $40 with rebates. :)

FWIW, I've had great luck with SMC products. Mainly, they've got good documentation, which is helpful since none of the vendors offers decent tech support.
