what wireless kb & mouse 4 gaming 10ft range?

hi all,

i'm looking for wireless kb & mouse with 10+ft range for moderate gaming and web / media browsing.

So far I think about Logitech MX 3100 (comes with MX1000 mouse).

What are other alternatives?
Does M$ any good?

would you compare MX 5000 to MX 3100? pls.
Any one uses MX 5000 BT for gaming? how is it?

I have the MX3100, and it's great for everyday uses, but when it gets interference during a game, I find myself wishing for wired. When I build my next computer, it will def. be with a wired keyboard and mouse. It sounds like you might need wireless for your setup though. I can't say for sure if bluetooth is better or worse than Fast-RF for gaming, but what I've heard is that Fast-RF is better, so stick with the MX3100.

ive heard that the mouse that comes with the mx3100/3000 is hideos for gaming.

in that case what keyboard with USB hub would you recommend with 10ft wire?
