What wired keyboard/mouse combo for gaming?

I have a thread in general hardware on a prospective PC build, and need advice on a keyboard and mouse combo. I probably don't need anything fancy, basically if I am going to spend a lot I will get a Saitek Eclipse and a Logitech 518, but if I want to keep it cheap is there any performance difference out there? Any advice will be appreciated.

Logitech Office Internet Pro at Newegg, should be around 10. Then for a mouse you could try the MX510 or Razer Diamondback.

I'm not sure if what the above poster gave you is wireless or not but for gaming you want wired stuff cause wired=delays which are bad for gaming there are other reasons wireless devices aren't as good such as devices often turn to a power saving mode which, say you are in game and hiding out somewhere not moving the mouse may go into power saying modes which require an extra movement to get it back ready so you can't act as quickly as you would want
 
All wired... I don't support wireless. 😛

I'd look around for MX510/MX518 deals, they're getting really cheap with some of the deals.
