I'm on classic but it's getting a little old, any suggestions on a new skin? I don't see anything good on Winamp's website

Whatever it came with, stock. The only thing I skin is my knuckles.

I still use winamp 2.92 with either the winamp 3 skin, or this Alpine head unit skin.

MMD3, but only use it for tagging. I use foobar for listening because it doesn't fuck up my audio settings like winamp does.

Why 2.92? Less bloat? I'm on the latest Winamp 5.5 or something and it doesn't seem bloated at all.

Pretty much I guess, I hated winamp 3. So I went with the if it ain't broke mind set. Its simple, and fast. Thats all I care about.

I just stick with the Modern skin. There are a lot of great looking skins out there, but most seem to sacrifice functionality for looks.

Since Trillian can play mp3s, I've been using that. Got rid of winamp.

Starting up yet another application on my ancient AMD 2.0GHz w/ 1GB RAM is not the most ideal.

3 was pure shit, but versions 5+ have been worlds better. I'm using the latest version with the new default skin (I think it's called Bento - not home right now to check) which has built in support for album artwork that works great.

Agreed. Faster loadtimes, minimal clutter.

yeah I like the classic theme the most, but is there any way I can change the colors around or something? For instance, I really kinda wanted the text to be red on a black background and maybe have the overall skin be grey or chrome instead of the blue color it is by default.

Are there maybe any good sites with Winamp skins besides winamp.com?
