I think that the most I would do is give him a nod...

I mean yeah - I respect him... but he has no idea who the hell I am either... and I dont see him getting down on his knee's in front of me... (not that I'm anyone special, but he doesnt know that) hehe

How do I know he's a 4-Star General? I'm a history buff - I even like the history of militaries and war - and I have no idea what denotes a 4-Star General. Furthermore, if he was in full regalia, I'd ask him why.

Then I'd beat the OP for posting such a retarded question.

I once saw Colin Powell come in and buy a newspaper. I just nodded, exchanged glances, rang up his purchase and let him go. The last thing someone like that wants is to be hailed every three feet and asked, "Can I have your autograph?" Give them a break...

Ask him how he likes killing a bunch of people for medals.

Your ignorance is showing there guy. You get medals by LEADING and going above and beyond in your duty. Get your head out of your a$$.

Ok. Let me rephrase:

As him how he likes leading a bunch of brainwashed killers to kill a bunch of people for medals and kill a few on your own for more medals.

Nope sorry your head is still frimly implanted in your a$$.

Why don't you stop spouting off what mommy and daddy say and go form your OWN opinion based on facts. Not hate

Sorry. Just not into the right wing nazi bull.

Nothing..
Just about everyone does service to this country in one way or another. It might not be with guns, but even someone who works at mc donalds is helping society in one way or another.
That said.. my grandpa was a two star general for chiang kai shek.

there is an obvious difference between the peons that work in the lowest form of the retail industry and a mother fcuking 4 star general. where's the respect? there is a definite difference between someone willing to put their life on the line to protect our liberties and freedoms and someone flipping burgers, cleaning out shoes, and washing cars to pay for their insurance. lol...nice analogy, except not.

Get on my knees and bow down.

seconded. much respect is deserved and I owe my life and liberty to these people. The LEAST I could do is to vocally appreciate them rather than just "keep walking down the street." WTF do you people have no soul / live in a different country?

OH STFU. Look at you, so quick to bow down to someone. Part of being American is having a little pride and self dignity. A good nod and "hello" is sufficient.
