Me no vote. It would depend on the circumstances. First of all, how would I know it was cocaine? It wouldn't have a label confirming that.

Leave it. I'm not like the dude in No Country for Old Men. Dont need no psycho with a captive bolt pistol chasing my ass around town. Dont know anyone to sell it to, and I dont use it. Now, if it was cash I'd be tempted to keep it. Yeah, and I know cash is what the guy in No Country for Old Men took, but if you dont go back to the scene you should be alright.
Yeah, right. You forgot to take the cash out of the case, which would have alerted you to the transponder inside the case.

Oh, there's ways to know.
Yeah, like what? You find a package of white powder, you're just going to snort it and see what happens? Shoot it? Pimp it? :$

You know, life isn't just a Tarantino movie.

Walk away.

Seriously, why is this even a question?
- 5kg of coke goes missing, someone's going to come looking for it.

Here's the scenarios of what would happen:
#1 - Lifetime supply of hookers and blow: you're hooked, strung out and dead in a week
#2 - New dealer on the block: You either end up with a bullet in your head from rival dealers or locked up for 20.
#3 - Selling supply: Go around advertising you have "a large supply", see how long it takes for the local kingpin to track down who's muscling in on his turf. You end up with a bullet in your head, or if you're lucky locked up for 20+.

Option #4 - you get lucky, you do things smart and sell a bit at a time to fund a modest lifestyle. But guess what, you have to LIVE with 5kg of coke for however long it takes to get rid of it, so you're a target as long as you have it. You're looking over your shoulder for the rest of your life. It's your best option, but you're still a dealer with a mark on your back.

I don't see how any option is appealing. Banana flavored coke though...

I actually thought about this before. lol I would initially take it somewhere else, stash it, then come back with another container and transfer the cash while looking for devices. I'd have to do this in a place that I can tell if it has be visited or where you can detect surveillance...maybe a neighbors yard or a a semi-secured area at work. Not my building, but one of the satellites. If someone else finds it, thats OK. Even thought about going to Reno or Vegas to launder the money in case the serials are being tracked. Just cash in $5-9k worth of chips, play a few hands, cash out, then go to the next casino.

I don't do coke, so that's out.

Selling can mean a bit at a time, like at a bar, a gram or two at a time. Inevitably, you'll sell to some stupid asshole that gets busted with it. They'll get squeezed and roll over in a second. Get busted with a kilo and you are hosed. The DA will be looking to add your scalp, not to bargain - You don't have anyone to roll over on.

Or, it means selling larger amounts to a higher up distributor. I don't know anyone like that, but those are not the folks I want to associate with anyway, cuz I'm scared and stuff. So, selling is out.

I think I walk away and make an anonymous call to the cops.
