People and businesses are moving away from Cali, this is the first time that the number of people moving to Cali is less than the numbers moving out. But where do they go? The economy is pretty much sucks all around the country. Any thoughts?

Or you don't care!

The property there is way to expensive. Even if they had millions of jobs I still would not live there.

Luckily the post-production aspect of the entertainment industry isn't moving anywhere.

All you really need is a govenor, that is also an actor running around saying slogans from his movies like "I'll be back" and "Your terminated", while being married to a member of a high profile political family to fix all California's problems. So don't worry.

THey could start by deliberalizing the crap out of it. Taxes there are ridiculous and the political system seems like a sham. I gather that from what miniscule amount I care to learn.

No what you need to do is repeal some of these newer laws granting illegal aliens services, as well as raising the cost of college to more in line the national average.

I hate to tell you that California hasn't even seen the worst yet. The California economy will continue to decline and you can thank decades of liberal "tax & spend" politics coupled with completely unrealistic environmental policy. People are going to lose everything in the crash too.....property values will have to come more in line with reality meaning millions of people will owe 5X as much as their property is really worth. Companies are leaving like a mass exodus and taking the jobs and the tax base with them......who is the CA government going to steal money from in the future? It is a ticking time bomb and the state is going to have to implode and then start from the ashes.

CA better start electing some Republicans to fix the mess caused by years of electing Liberal Democrats. California is one mess that absolutely cannot be blamed on the Republicans.

That's a wonderful argument - completely flawed and biased in every way.

This or the "big one" will hit and CA can be it's own country then.

We could point fingers and blame the easy guy. But its the state assembly and senate that makes the laws and taxes. Governors propose, sign into law the laws (even if he feels its unjust, the senate in the state can overrule...checks and balances :D )

Davis surely could have somethings differently, mistakes can happen and also can be amended. Recalling him has just tuned California into a good circus.

The cost of living there is ridiculous, I could go to California and make several times the amount of what I make here in Oklahoma, but that doesn't mean it would make any difference when it comes right down to it.

You're absolutely right, the damn home values here are short of ridiculous. Even the shietiest of places with less than 1000 square feet in the boony is selling for over $220,000. I too have notice the fast declining economy of Cali (also the country), and still don't understand how everything have been holding up the way they have. Every one is in serious debt, and most don't make enough to cover the high living expenses. Well, since California will be in a shiet pot soon, where is the next best place to go?
