What will happen if I cancel my cellular phone service before the contract expire?

yeah $169 at least.

It's in the contract, usually a few hundreds, so you are better off paying the monthly fee and not use it then paying the early termination fee.

I mean this kindly: are you semi brain dead? it says in the contract. With t-mobile my penalty was $250. Otherwise we could all keep signing up and getting free phones.
