Saddam Hussein monetarily rewarded the families of those who committed suicide bombing. The United States has provided over $90 billion to Israel, a state that has committed acts such as the Sabra-Shatila and more recently the Jenin massacre. Hey, let alone that, I read of a Christian aid worker who was bulldozed over, and even more recently a group of Christian aid workers being beaten up by Israeli settlers. So if I am sugar-coating, I'd like you to put into perspective how Iraq is a terrorist safe haven while Israel isnt.

I am sure if there exists a Palestinian state with the same amount of American aid, or even half of that and had a sizeable workable army, the need for suicide bombers would finish and then we can all have a proper war rather than pizza cafe's blowing up.

While I understand that you hate America and the fact that we support Israel, whether we continue to or the fact that the Israelis level war zones has nothing to do with supporting people who tape explosives with nails and ball bearings and hop on a bus being the same as supporting terrorism. Israel would probably like to have a knock down war with the rest of the Arab world, oh wait that only lasted six days last time. Get over it you lost the six-day war. Be happy Israel lets the Palestinians live in Israel, no Arab nation would do the same.

If we leave iraq as the new middle east center for terrorism, which it has become since our invasion, it is of course a complete failure. This is meant to reference the freedom that groups like alqeda can now move around and organize there, rather than insurgency in general.

It has also become a land of 'haves' and 'have nots' - those who have kidnapped and made a ton of ransom money from it, and those who have not. Iraq will only be a victory when, among other things, the iraqi people and foreigners are safe from this. I don't believe this is just an issue of terrorism, but financial opportunism in a blighted country.

In whole, the iraqi invasion can not succeed and has already failed and is a failure. The end doesn't justify the means, and the only success can be salvaging iraq and making it a good thing that hussein is not in power, instead of a complete disaster that it has become for the lives of iraqis at this point.

So you also believe that the Iraq invasion cannot be counted as a victory for the US at all? I guess thats pretty much what I had said above.
