What will be the fastest quad on s775

Hi,

i'm running a q9450 now @ 3.2 ghz. Because I'm doing a lot of graphic work (photoshop cs4 / premiere pro) I'm looking for a fast quad and since my system is only a few months old, with 8 gb of fast ddr 2, i would like to know what the final quad will be for the s775 platform?

Fastest non-EE one will be the Q9650, which is already out. And believe it or not, but the Q9650 overclocks a lot better then the QX9650 or Q9770. At least on air/water that is

E0 revisions run a lot cooler and require a lot less voltage then the C0/C1.

What about the Q9550 as well ? Isnt it the same thing as the Q9650 just clocked a hair lower ?

Or is the multiplier or something different ?

Q9550 E0 is a pretty good socket 775 buy for around $300.

A decent mobo and air cooler will give you a pretty good shot at 4GHz.

Multiplier is different, 8.5 vs. 9
