Loaner

Yeah I was the guy who was always loaning my stuff out to people. I had a good system going - barcodes and everything. I was like a library.

Yep. The only people I didn't like to hang out with were people who were being unpopular because it's popular.

I was kind of a semi-smart weirdo that everybody seemed to like but not be friends with. I had a couple of good friends who were similar in nature. Does that count as a clique?

A loaner of course! I was humiliated and teased very young. Never faced my problems, ended up a shy weird'o by high school. I still had some friends, just never wanted to do anything.

Sniff* :disgust:

According to my wife (two years my junior, same High School) I was infamous, not that I knew it.

Like a poser?

I was probably a mix between a band geek (I wore my band letter jacket proudly with 3 pins and 2 medals and a patch) and computer geek.

Eh, kind of.

People who were "anti-prep" or whatever. They all tried to rebel from the norm, but they all did it together, creating a new norm.

I say just be yourself.

Damn right. I have long hair and someone said to me, "Who are you trying to be with that long hair, Kurt Cobain?"
I said, "I'm trying to be myself and who are you trying to be, an ass?":)

He didn't respond.

Jesus, all these categories...

All we had were Jocks, Townies, Cowboys, & Hippies

I sold fake ID's & bought booze for all of them:D :D :D (there's still some woman that works in a liquor store that thinks I'm 4 years older than I really am...)

Suppose I was the angst ridden virgin townie hippie that took Vocational Ag & hung with the cowboys, rode a big street bike & drove a van & wore an army jacket with the fabulous furry freak brothers screened on the back...

Me, as with many others here, I really don't fit in one single group. I find myself hanging with the skater types more then others, amazingly some of them are smarter then you would ever imagine. Can't stand some of the preps/jocks because all they want to do is talk about school/sports and whatnot. I can really go to just about any group, from the druggies to the ones who look down on drugs like they are the worst thing in the world, which is a good chunk of em around here as I live in the bible belt. Never tried drugs, but I know what good crystal meth looks like, and where I can get it, and how much the guy makes per gram, can get weed, and just about any other drug I could want. More time then not I am a loner though, most people around here consider me a genius, won't call myself that though.

class clown that more often than not could outsmart the smart kids...got them really annoyed. I was voted least likely to grow up. Class size of 800, with a school size of about 3200
