But Anastasia points to what she considers proof to back up at least the major points of her account - the hardened cartilage around her nose from where she says he kicked her face; and a wound on her neck, where, she says, Anthony cut her with a knife when he hacked off a fistful of hair so all would see the tattoo of "Tony's" on her neck. Because he's dyslexic, she said, he cut the hair on the wrong side of her head. "He didn't realize it until the next day."

Inside Anthony's bedroom - "Tony's World" as his wife calls it - taxidermic lions appear ready to pounce from shelves, and a bear hangs from a door. Assorted animal skins are spread across the floor, including that of Puppy, one of the family's English mastiffs, which died late last year.

it's still here and it's still fine. A few stories here and there aren't unexpected. It's not like this is all Amherst, NY, safest city in America.
