What web program to use for fun?

I'm thinking of starting a personal site, except I expect it to have a decent amount of traffic. I used to have a brinkster html-text only site that had my personal blog type of thing and also had restaurant reviews here

Basically now I want to revamp it from being text-only to having some pictures and stuff, except I'm at a loss at what program to use. I want it to be as easy as possible, because the reason I stopped updating it was that I really hating typing in all those html tags and for a simple thing such as moving my old journal entries over to a previous folder would take some copying and pasting over like 2-3 open IE browsers in brinkster and fixing html tags here and there. I can only imagine how much hassle it would take if I wanted to put in some graphics.

What are some easy-to-use webpage making programs but are able to do it all? I don't care about learning a lot, just as long as after I learn it all I can do things like archiving and adding pictures in as easy as possible (which I'd imagine such a program would be easy to learn)

well.. let me state then.. cost is no object really.. i'm a student and i can get most programs for very cheap.. i'm just looking for the easiest to use and still make a somehwat professional/advanced looking website.

Well this one has different levels for newbies, normal users, advanced users, etc. Just download it and try it out.

I can agree with FirstPage2000. It's very similar to Homesite+ (ex-CF Studio) and even Dreamweaver MX has somewhat copied it (all Macromedia products anyway). Great tool to use because of its many functions including remote (FTP/RDS) development, tag insight, and many other things that make your life simpler with hand coding. But if you want a drag-and-drop WYSIWYG editor, give GoLive or Dreamweaver (not MX yet) a shot.
