What water cooling kit should i get for a new build?

Ok i have never messed with water cooling before and want to try it out on a new build. The case i am using is here. Im not really sure what all you need to know to decide on a water cooling kit it with have a socket 939 AMD Operton 165. Mobo will be a DFI LanParty and the Graphics card is going to be a 7800GTX 512MB. Im not wanting to spend more than $200 on the water cooling
 
Yea i saw the swift tech on another site but wasnt sure if it would fit my case but if it will i will probably get that also will i need to get water blocks for the chipset or does it come with them? if not got any suggestions?
 
For the swift tech setup you WILL have to purchase waterblocks for the chipset and GPU, they are not included. These blocks are made by Swiftech and should be compatible with that setup: http://heatsinkfactory.com/shop/home.php?cat=76.

What kind of case are you sporting? IF push comes to shove, you could always mount the radiator on the back of the case outside. I doubt it would just bolt on to any case anyway, there is almost always some case modding to be had with a H2O setup.
 
Im getting the Gigabyte Aurora. Are there any other blocks that i should think about getting for anything? And which of the blocks on that page are compatible with the chipset?

why would he need a storm block? dude, the 7800 GTX 512 is WAAY overpriced. get a x1800 XT or a standard 7800GTX. Use the money you save on a H20 APEX water cooling kit from swiftech. it's the best kit money can buy, and it only sets you back about $250 total. Then get a dangerden Maze4 GPU block, and if you WANT, a chipset cooler, although that'll do more harm to your flowrates than it'll do good with the cooling.
 
Well from my point of view the best bang for the buck video card is 7800GT and it will keep you & your games happy with all the latest technology for about another year.

Do you realize that that case does not include water cooling, and is just designed for water cooling to be used with it?

Swiftech MCR200 rad - will fit perfect over or on the inside of the two 120mm rear ports of that case!! No modding required. $40

Swiftech MCW6000 - best waterblock there is IMO as far as price/performance..storm = overrated and clogs and expensive $32


Swiftech MCP350 - best water pump as far as noise (it's silent)/pressure/price $65

Swiftech MCW-50 for graphics card.. $30

7 ft 3/8" tubing. $3

T for T-line - $1

Use existing fans in case on radiator = $171 Total for a sweet CPU/GPU complete system.

Don't waste your time or money on the evercool kit. I have the cpu water block from an evercool kit in my hand right now, it's very hard to blow air through it. I took the video block apart to see why it's so restricted, the water channels are about .25" high and maybe one sixteenth of an inch apart. These things don't work as well as a good HSF.
 
I'd wait and get the Swiftech H20 Apex Ultra with the new APOGEE waterblock. That's the best kit on the market right now, $259. only about $60 over your price range. drop the vid card down a bit and get that kit. If you want, throw in a dangerden Maze4 GPU block.
