I am getting married in August and my Fiancee and I dont know what we want for a wedding song. She has made me listen to like 100 or so songs to pick, and really they all sound the same to me. Someone give me some suggestions of songs to give me an idea, or narrow it down or something.

i've played a "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" guitar quartet at a few weddings, and it's a pretty good song for that (my sister's wedding, the ones i played for, and a few others).

I've sure u've heard it somewhere or another.

What part of the wedding are you looking for the song for? Is it for the first dance or something else?

I'm pretty sure that the woman and I are going to use Sara Evans - I Could Not Ask for More

You could go with the old standard "From This Moment" --- don't know who sings it, I imagine a lot of people have redone it.

Or go "Old School" style and hire that dude to sing "Total Eclipse of the Heart"......"I fvcking need ya more than ever....."....lol

U2 made the best wedding songs:

"I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For"

and

"With or Without You"

I hear The Way you Look Tonight is popular... I think clapton sings it?

I personally like the idea of U2 though.

Please tell me you're joking like I was. Otherwise you're simply cracked. The first is essentially telling your spouse that they aren't what you wanted, and the second is about being rejected and tormented emotionally. It's almost as bad as using "Every Breath You Take" by the Police, which is about stalking an ex-lover, or Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight" which is about getting so drunk at a party that your wife has to drive you home and put you to bed like a child.

Sometimes I wonder if people ever really listen to the lyrics of songs anymore.

she picked it... and if you know the lyrics, it goes "someone exactly like you".

I'm not married but Forever And For Always by Shania Twain was the song a friend used.
