1200 on the old test. Drank the night before and didn't do an ounce of studying aside from brushing up on my math. If there is one thing I would recommend, it is solidifying your math knowledge before taking the test. A lot of simple procedures are easy to forget if you haven't dealt with them for awhile.

The verbal isn't as easy to study for.. I would recommend focusing more on math and study that hard before the test.

1400/1600. I did a few practice exams, but they didn't help. I averaged about the same on all of them, and certainly didn't get any higher on the real thing.

I skipped most of my homework and didn't do half the studying I was supposed to. I also have several learning disabilities. On the other hand, I'm extremely smart and I have an exceptional memory for facts (though not for things I want to get done, which is quite irritating). I got a 33 on the ACT with no practice at all. I think practice is a very good idea, but keeping your GPA up is even more important. If you don't do your homework but cover it up with a superior test score, you'll just find yourself out of your league in the wrong college or program.
