^ same - Foscam IP cam for the front door. Works great, after a difficult installation (why can't they make the wires to the back of the cam screwed-in via some kind of connector?).

Note 4. Supposed to be here this morning, but found a FedEx note on the door instead. Wife swears no one rang the bell....

Hate when that happens. Now if you had a door cam you'd know for sure. ;)

Replaced my dead Asus RT-N16 router ( :( ) with a TMobile TM-AC1900 router which I proceeded to flash to an Asus RT-AC68U. Hate spending money!!!

/Grumpy-cheapskate old man!

It's T-Mobile property. I wonder if they forbid running non-TM firmware...?

Last tech purchase was the $200 iMac I got from Goodwill thrift store. Model A1225 (early 2009), 24" 1920x1200 display, Intel Core 2 3.06 Ghz, 1TB HDD, 8GB DDR3 RAM installed, Apple slim Bluetooth keyboard.

Member of a tech forum since 2001 and this is your first smartphone? Why? (if I may ask)

Of course!

I had no use case for it. I was always at work, school, or at home. I had access to a computer at all of those places. When I went out, I didn't see the need for internet access, because I was with friends.

Since I'm single with no kids, there weren't really any emergencies I needed to be alerted to.

It just didn't make sense to me. I'm still not entirely sure it's worth it now, but I can't back out. :p

Seven total, Zotac GT630 "ZONE" edition video cards.

They have Kepler GPUs with 384 cores, 25W, passive heatsink, low-profile ready.

They were on sale at Newegg for cheap, and now they're even cheaper right now. Contemplating getting some more.

I have one each in my Q9300 rigs, one in my server, and four for my quad-GPU cruncher.

Earlier this month, I got five PremierTek PT-8812AU AC1200 USB3.0 wifi adapters. They work pretty well. Using the Edimax Realtek drivers.

I bought the i3 version earlier this year for a little over $600 and agree. It's an incredible piece of hardware. Even in the i3 form it's a very zippy critter and it's form and weight is a great improvement over the previous versions.

Pretty sure Microsoft optimized Windows to run on this thing, which they would have been stupid NOT to.

Taking notes in my own hand writing in OneNote is amazing as well. Pulling the keyboard off is refreshing, as is reattaching it with that magnetic snap it gives.

Yep! And I know you do one note syncing over OneDrive which to me is nerd'vana. I can take notes on the surface during meetings and while out on the floor. Then through the magic of the intratubes it's synced up to my desktop PC onenote when I get back.

Yay!

Oh and if your handwriting isn't absolutely atrocious it's also fully searchable in onenote too. Badass!

Xbox One. It's fine. New screen for my iPhone 5 which I have no complaints with after over 2 years of ownership.
