What was your last dream? And can you explain why you had it?

I had a dream last night that I became the president of Taiwan through a constitutional succession process. President Chen resigned, and I was next in line (apparently I was working for the gov't of Taiwan!). It was a big scandal because, well, I'm American and white and don't speak any dialect of Chinese.

Easy to trace where this came from: recent Taiwanese elections plus the assassination attempt on Chen, and we just watched The West Wing -- one the episodes where Bartlett was temporarily resigned in favor of a Republican.

Pretty funny actually.
