Probably a 1 gig PNY MP3 player. Flimsy plastic piece of junk. I only paid $14 for it and I still feel ripped off.

My cell phone is a big wad of suck... an LG something or other. It's attached to my hip right now, but checking the actual model number would require looking at it's forsaken hideousness.

I bought an Xbox 360 a week ago... not sure it was a wise decision given the CRAP library of games available.

Most of my electronics purchases have been satisfying. Most regrets stem from purchasing something I didn't need, rather than purchasing something that was of poor quality. I do tend to research quite a bit before a purchase.

Never made any bad electronics buys. They basically do everything I expect and don't prematurely quit for the most part.

Oh, come to think of it, my Sony T9 digital camera since about 2 months after getting it the LCD cracked without being dropped or damaged and Sony wouldn't cover it! :|

Now I ended up spending $150 for a replacement LCD and once it gets here I "hope" I can swap it out.

I bought a set of component speakers for $160 to replace the front speakers in my old car, and then about a month later I got a new car so now those nice new speakers got given away with the car. Doh!

Recently: Paid around $70 for a 256MB MP3 player that I could have bought for half that a few weeks later. I barely use it and it doesn't even hold a fraction of my music.

Historically: Paid about $400 for the Panasonic 3DO Real System when it came out in the early 90's. That thing kicked ass back then and was way ahead of its time. But in no time at all, they quit making them and software was no longer produced for them. I have held on to it all this time thinking it would turn into some high dollar collector's item but I see complete systems selling on Ebay for $50-$100, depending on how many games you include. I got my money's worth though. I used to see the sun come up from playing Alone In The Dark and The Need For Speed on it all night long.

Logitech Bluetooth Headphones. Mine didn't break, but apparently it's a common problem and I can see why.

So far, a pair of Altec Lansing AHP223 headphones. No low end at all on those.

now that I think of it, I did buy a HTIB at BB for $5. That's right, five dollars. it was on clearnace, made by some junk manuf.....craig i think it was. anyway, tru to form, it broke down in about 3 months, the drive doesn't open anymore. I ended up selling it for $30, so I guess it wasn't a total loss.

No it's not supposed to happen and apparently is unfixable. Faulty hardware design. :|

It's a common problem

I see you've discovered our famous thread :p

So many views on that thread tells me there's thousands of people with the same issue.

My worst buy lately was likely my notebook.

Not because it was a bad deal.

It was actually an insanely good deal.

But that's why i bought it.

I have absolutely no need for a notebook...i just got it cause it was such a good price, & i sorta wanted one, for no real reason :p

PSP heads over to ebay tonight, xbox360 goes there soon, i don't think the gamecube is worth anything anymore so i'll just pack it up...

actaully, a game cube with super smash bro melee is actually pretty fun and a game cube is still worth money. sell it.

bad purchase...i didn't really buy this myself but my grampa baught it and gave it to me. it was this sony cd system. the speakers sound like crap, the display died and the CD skips.

also, baught this stupid Albatron mobo to make my sister a computer. had no choice. couldn't find any other socket 462 mobo here. it is slow and unstable.

Last bad purchase = dual layer discs made by GQ from Frys. 15 discs for $21 dollars sounded decent. Should have bought verbatim.

You'd think after awhile you'll wise up and stop buying different consoles you'll never play.
