Great record, particularly "Time Stand Still" and "Mission." :thumbsup:

I really, really hate to admit this, but the very first CD I purchased was Avril Lavigne - Let Go. I blame it on my 16-year-old hormones and my bad taste in music at the time... hehe. I threw that POS out about two years ago, fwiw.

It's hard to say. I used to burn alot of music. I think one of the first CD's I went out and bought was Rammstein - Herzeleid.

Correct = Queensryche

Which album? Operation Mindcrime still amazes me to this day. Geoff Tate's vocals and the guitar work are just stellar. One of the top 10 "metal" records of all time, IMHO.

THE Queensryche album, which I can only assume is their first.

Yeah, their first album was self-titled. Actually, it was an EP (5 songs, I think?) on vinyl when it first came out.

Pretty raw stuff way back then (hey -- they were young!), but their songwriting really got sophisticated after a couple albums & they really came into their own.
