When CDs first came out what was the first one you bought?

I just heard a song by Babylon A.D. (Hair Band for those who have never heard of them) and I remembered that their self titled CD was the first CD I ever purchased. I tried to post an amazon link to the CD but they don't even carry it any more.

i think my friend has that cd or has at elast one of their cds

my 1st actual cd was Soundgarden. can't remember which one though. i didn't really get into music until high school (mid 90s or so). i never really had any cassette tapes either.
 
It was a Queen's Greatest Hits. This might sound weird but the only reason I got it was because I calculated that it had the most minutes and I wanted my money's worth. (Yes I was a pretty stupid kid).

I hate to admit that I have that same Babyon A.D. CD. Although, Bon Jovi - New Jersey was the first CD I purchased.

haha i used to do that with movies. like if i wanted to buy a movie and i couldn't decide between 2 or whatever, i would buy the one that ran the longest.
