What was your favorite Seattle Grunge Band?

I didn't like them much at the time, but early Mudhoney is pretty much the only grunge that still sounds fresh to me now.

I don't think AiC really classifies as grunge - and STP was really just grunge-influenced corporate rock.

How can you list Mad Season but not Temple of the Dog?

Ehh I didn't like them. Their only good song was Hunger Strike.

That's more or less how I feel about Mad Season 😛
Substitute River of Deceit for Hunger Strike, of course.

STP - if they were from Seattle. Nirvana coming in close 2nd, followed by AIC. I'm so sick of hearing Pearl Jam on the radio!

I couldn't disagree more. STP's albums show more diversity than probably any of the other bands listed.

Grunge was as bad a misnomer as metalcore is today. What similarities do Soundgarden and Nirvana share? Alice in Chains and STP? I'm sorry, but you're deaf if you can't hear the obvious differences between these bands.
