What was your favorite "kid show" when you were young?

Ummm... I think the OP is referring to PBS shows, not violent cartoons. 😉

Anyway, my vote goes towards Sesame Street. Last time I caught of glimpse of it, it was still good. Cookie monster is freakin' HILARIOUS!

Yeah, if we're gonna start listing cartoons, then there are way too many to recount. Thundercats, Transformers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Silverhawks, MASK, etc etc etc

As far as "kids shows" go, I'd probably say...Reading Rainbow, the Alphabet People, and Mr. Rogers's Neighborhood. Hell, I enjoy watching Reading Rainbow nowadays if I ever happen to find it on tv.

Loved that show. I saw the Family guy episode the other day where Peter was doing the word game.

That was on Cartoon Network night before last. 😀

Aside from the obvious cartoons I liked "The Bozo Show", and "You can't do that on TV".

Edit: Don't forget "Mr. Wizard"!

Cartoons:

-Danger Mouse

-Dungeons and Dragons

-GI Joe

-He Man

-Transformers

-M.A.S.K.

The list could go on forever.

Cartoons today just suck.

Loony toones

Tom and Jerry

Scooby Doo

Captain caveman

Hong Kong Phooey

....just to name a few

The great space coaster and The new zoo review...
