T2 and Black Tiger (actually used to own both as well).

T2 was fun. i wasted a whole report card worth of free tokens to get ~95% through the game. i remember playing the aerosmith knockoff revolutionx too lol.

i tended to play the games that lasted the longest per quarter - those TMNT games, Aliens Vs Predator scroller, simpsons, NARC.

In no particular order, Monkey Climber, Donkey Kong, Pac Man, Zoo Keeper, Space Invaders, Asteroids, plus really old pinball games. And, Haunted House (a pinball game). That was rapidly growing to be one of my favorite pinball games, but the guy who set it up allowed for fairly loose play; i.e., it took quite a bit to get it to tilt. After servicing it, he didn't finish the connections for the back. The first time it was played after that, my friend used a little English, and the backboard came crashing down.

I hadn't heard or played that machine until around 2003 at a collectors house. I fell in love with it immediately and promptly got one for myself :)

In case you're interested, Haunted House is one of the tables available in The Pinball Arcade. Just a word of warning, the default tilt setting is very unforgiving. It seems to be that way on most Gottlieb tables. On the other hand, most Williams tables take a lot of nudging before you tilt.

Also, if anyone's interested, they have a Kickstarter going so they can hopefully do The Addams Family. Link

Street Fighter 2 the original version without any doubt. My buddy builds beautiful cabinets so I'll own one once I have a proper place to live.

baby pac-man -> made the high score the 1st time I played it (500k+). never even broke 100k since then :(

I met my wife in the mid 80's while working in a theme park arcade back when I was barely 17. Some of my favorite classic arcade games from that time:

I, Robot
Galaga
Gyruss
Star Wars
Gauntlet
Battlezone
Disks of Tron
Karate Champ
Ms. Pacman
10-yard Fight
Hang-on
Dragons Lair
Tempest
Dig-Dug
Track and Field

Later on:
Silent Scope
Virtua Cop
Area-51
Terminator 2 Judgment Day
Gauntlet 2
Virtua Fighter
House of the Dead
The Lost World: Jurassic Park
Time Crisis I & II

The fact that I can play most of those with MAME on my own computer kinda rocks, but nothing is like a loud arcade full of pinball and stand up games.

I stopped going to arcades back in 1983.

I liked space invaders, gyrus and galaga.

The thing is, I was able to play most arcade games on my C64. So going to an arcade was pointless and wasted money.

Marvel vs Capcom 2

There was also this monster truck racing game with nitros and other powerups that I can't remember the name of. We used to play it during lunch in middle school (we were allowed out for lunch) at a local pizzeria. That machine ate many, many quarters.

That game is called off road

Probably Double Dragon and Off Road Racing for video games. But pinball was and is better than all those and there have been so many great pinballs.

Notables:

Monster Bash
Monopoly
Terminator 2
Playboy
Cirqus Voltaire

When I was a kid, I spent a fair number of quarters every weekend down the street at the local one-stop-shop playing Mortal Kombat. It was the only arcade game they had at the entire store and it was in some back-ass never-used entry way. I loved it.
