It was text commands but you were inside this house and it started in the basement/cellar.
You worked your way up exploring room to room wondering what you could type next to progress. The game ended when you escaped as the house turned into a castle tower by the game's end. Sometimes going the wrong way warped you back to the start and some paths caused you to either die or stay trapped forever.
Game was full color too, no music
Anybody remember this?
