Scheduling a playoff game for 8pm on a Saturday night in Philadelphia?!?

The "Acme" parking lot near the stadium opened at 8am this morning for tailgaters, many of whom have no doubt been drinking steadily since they got off from work yesterday evening. OK, it's now just past 10am here. I can officially say that there's probably been at least 3 "violent incidents" in the lot already! 😀

The NFL has nothing to do with what time the stadium opens. 😛 That's the venue that allows THAT stuff to go on.... 😉

I like NFL games and all, but I prefer watching them from home. It's a climate-controlled environment with 2 refridgerators full of beer. Much cheaper and my futon is hella-comfy. 😀

They (Network & NFL) were thinking of greenbacks. They figured that if they showed a game during primetime, they will be able to attract bigger audience hence, more advertising money.

They want to put Vick v. McNabb in prime time. I don't blame them after the ratings they got from the Packers/Falcons game last Saturday at 8PM.
