It was a "mockudrama" about domestic terrorists with an atomic weapon and the aftermath of the explosion.

It was filmed from the perspective of the local news crew covering the story...

that's what i thought initially as well but i'm almost certain that's not it. The day after is about an attack from Russia (i think).

I vaguely remember that movie. Real cheesy and they kept putting up disclaimers throughout the whole movie. LIke we did not know the news room set wasn't real or that a news station would still run commercials during a nuclear holocaust.

I think I remember the one you're talking about. Wasn't there a scene where a female news reporter is being filmed, I think at a navy harbour, and an explosion goes off in the background.

yes, she's at the harbor when the explosion takes place. i think the detonation was accidental because there was a film crew on the boat when pandemonium broke out when they realized they were about to blow up... i could be wrong bout all that though.

somebody has got to remember this.

It was called SPECIAL REPORT

I remember watching that and being freaked out...they blew it up on a sub on the East coast. It was cool.

edit: aaah special bulliten..I was close just from memory though. I remember the film crew witht he bomb experts when they were going in to disarm it...and didnt!
