What was the longest sleep you've ever had?

So what was the longest sleep you've ever remember having?

I just slept for about 12 hours. I'm in shock. Must of really of needed some sleep

12 hours almost broke your record? i just slept for 14 hours the day before ( stayed up). i sleep for 12+ hours pretty often when school workload is heavy (making up lost sleep from staying up)

My brother slept for almost 20 hours one time, some people can just sleep forever.... Not me, i think 12 was my best.

I've done about 18.

Granted, I was feverish, tremendously dehydrated, jet lagged and had Lymes Disease...

24 hours, slept straight through Thanksgiving about ten years back. I was working overnights at the time, getting massive overtime and not enough sleep for about two weeks previously.

Ive slept for 28 hours before.
I had the flu at the time.

Just beat me, I slept 26.5 hours once... went for a nap before dinner, woke up just after dinner time, went downstairs for hamburgers:

"That was yesterday, here's your meatloaf"

16 hours straight when i went to Europe( Didnt sleep for 40 hours)

I Probably could have slept 20 but my family thought i was dead so they started poking me, coz they said i didnt move in hours.

I dont get to sleep in anymore. When you have 2 kids (7 and 1yr) you are up at around 7 EVERY moring, and usually up atleast once a night for a while with the baby. God how I miss the days of being able to sleep untill noon on the weekends. Oh well, I would not trade them for sleep.....I dont think anyway... 😉

When I was young. Very young, I rmember once I went to bed late, maybe 2 am in the wintertime. I normally went to bed much earlier. Maybe 9 PM. Daddy let me stay up and watch a movie. All I remember was that I woke up later that night and noticed it was still dark outside so I closed my eyes again. Little did I know that it was wintertime and it was actually around 5 PM or so (I'm guessing). I mistook it as VERY early am. So I fell back asleep and woke up the next day at around 8 am.

So to summarize. Went to bed at 2 am. Woke up momentarily the next day at around 5 PM. Fell back asleep and woke up the following day at maybe 8am. So that's one day plus 6 hours.

I slept about 30 hours straight

EDIT: Noticed alot of other slept 24+ hours straight due to illness. I think I hold the record for longest non-illness related sleep.

I slept 18 hours once ... wasn't late for work I just slept thru the entire shift, I woke up two hours after I was suppouse to get off work.

Got three days off for that one 🙂
