What was the first word processor hardware/software you ever used?

For me... WPS-80 on a DEC Rainbow 100 running CP/M. My father worked for DEC so this is a bit deceiving, I'm only 24.

It definitely sucked trying to print a paper on the deafening LA-50 dot matrix printer when I was supposed to be in bed... lol

our first computer when i was a kid was an Apple II, we had a 9 pin serial dot matrix printer

Typewriter of course, but AppleWriter on an Apple II+ clone carried me through many school years. I had both a 9-pin dot matrix printer, and an actual wheel type printer <-- As good as laser but slow.

First for me was AppleWorks, and my favorite has to be MS Word 2.0a (home use). However I used Word Perfect 5.1-6.x extensively at school & work.
