Chaintech 6600GT AGP card, 128MB DDR. It was fast when I got it considering I was upgrading from a 5200.

EDIT: Bought it in the summer of 2003.

A PCI video card back in 2001.

ETA - Now that I'm really thinking about it, I think it was a hard drive - still in 2001. I bought a TV tuner also not too long after. It's all a blur. LOL

I bought

a CPU fan http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16835106003
a 30GB Maxtor Hard Drive http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16822140117
A Gigabyte AMD750 7IXE4 motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16813123124
And a 128MB stick of Viking PC133 SDRam http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16820133103

It was 7:43:49 Pm. (Hey, you asked for "when" so I gave the time instead of the date)

I forget who I was building the machine for at the time, I think it was the one I built for my sister, but it may have been for one of the guys at work ...
