What was the best present you've given/received?

i made my mom and dad really nice books with original writings, paintings and photographs.
thats the best i gave. the best i recieved was my engagement ring!
 
I asked my dad for a set of tires to go on a set of wheels I plan on purchasing soon. ONLY THE TIRES. I think hes buying the whole tire and wheel package instead, $875! He already ordered it, just waiting for it to come in. I'm getting it this year. I keep bugging him how much I owe him since he ordered it, and he keeps blowing it off. He also mentioned something along the lines of "buying the whole thing". Guess I'll have to wait, but its by far, the best present I've gotten.

Best gift i've given? I'm not sure, I got an ex-girlfriend (whom was my current gf at the time) a beautiful ring, which was a bit over $100, she picked it out. I'm not old enough to afford nice gifts.
 
1989-- My son came back from an Air Force tour of duty in Iceland at Christmas time with a Rolex watch for me.

my bf who i was madly in love with at one time had been forced to move a few states away b/c his parents moved, and without letting me know he showed up on my doorstep on Christmas day.

depends on you who ask... well i just bought my parents a 42'' plasma tv, and i'd have to say that its probably my favorite gift that i've gave anyone.
 
received? BIG TRAK!!! coolest toy evar. I used to program it to stalk the cat and shoot it with lasers. then I got the pickup bin thing for my birthday and it was all over.
