I don't know his music but I just saw a Vietnam special and there was this song, I think it was Jimi Hendrix. Anyone knows what I'm talking about?

All Along the Watchtower? What does that have to do with Vietnam? Maybe it was Machine Gun?

It is a song generally associated with Vietnam War History. Basically a song you might here played during a vietnam movie, etc.

As for AATWT having to do with Vietnam, it was used in Forrest Gump when Forrest and Bubba are in the Huey inbound to Vietnam. So there.

Perhaps if you'd asked what the *Bob Dylan* song is, I would have guessed AATW. ;)

That song's been covered a lot - a few bands use it in regular rotation in concert.

Well my mom just told me it was a Jimi Hendrix song... I showed the song my dad, I was like: "Look that, I meant that song!" Dad: "That ain't no Jimi Hendrix song! That was Bob Dylan!" ;)

I like their version of it - it has a lot of energy.

U2 covered it on Rattle and Hum. (during the free San Fran show)
