With the pending release of Mario Maker, it reminded me I've seen people talk about a tower defense type game where you make castles with traps and other players play your level to try to steal your treasure.
What was that? I suck at googling apparently as I tried searching a number of times...
I don't know exactly how it works, but it got me to thinking about how it might be cool to have a game where all the levels are made by users ; nothing overly complex really but along the same lines as Mario Maker but with the above type of scenario and with the same 'you have to beat it first' rules.
There would be a few different scorings using levels you beat, vs how many people played your level vs. died. There woudl be some sort of level order, but it would NOT be determined by player rankings, but by some other means. Perhaps based on that played vs. beat ratio vs died % ratio.
