hi, i just unlocked my 1600+ XP. here's my rig: Enermax 350 p/s, Soyo Dragon Plus, ThermoEngine HSF, VisionTek GF2 GTS, Pioneer DVD, 512 Crucial DDR Ram, Aluminum Case. my case has 2 huge fans in it. one right above the processor to suck out the hot air (sit's above the HSF) and another one to circulate (can't spell) air. i have the SkyHawk Aluminum Case that dispells heat pretty well. so i was wondering what voltage i should set for my unlocked processor. i want it to run as close to 2Ghz as possible. i know that i have to upgrade my HSF if i want it to run that high. but i was thinking about setting the voltage to 1.80 - 1.85. is that a safe voltage given my p/s and fans? should i put in a blowhole and somemore fans? fans=more noise and i want mine to be pretty quite, i have a small room and i don't want my comp to keep me away at night if i leave it on. one more question: if i set the FSB to 145, would that affect anything else on my computer. i remember a long time ago that when my uncle overclocked one of my old computers, it made everything go faster. i was listening to music at a faster clock time. games even went faster. would this happen again? i haven't adjust the FSB yet. but with the Soyo Dragon only letting me use multipliers to 14, i hav to adjust the FSB to get it over the 1.8Ghz mark. thanks

1.85v ?...no probs...go ahead. Just keep an eye on the temp if ur HSF is not up to mark. Feel uncomfortable...just back off.
