Can someone tell me what I should set the voltage on my baybus for the delta black label 60mm on my Globalwin GBK32? This would be the setting I would put when my computer is idle/not in use. I still want adequete airflow but at the same time quiet. Any suggestions?

i don't think changing the voltage to the fan cooling the processor would be very safe. not to sure though, but i personally would always keep it running off of 12v. if you want it quieter, then get a different fan.

Why wouldnt it be safe? I mean, i dont plan on shutting it off. I just dont need it so loud.

The lower voltage will just slow it down some. The more popular varients are 7v or 12v. The 7v would be worth a try. Watch the cpu temp. Then try 5v on it. Watch cpu temps again.

I dont expect to go that low..I was thinking somewhere between 7 and 10 v for the low end. any idea what sort of RPMs / cfm's i'd get w/ voltage between 7 and 10?
