Why do you take 2 acetominophen in the morning and 2 aspirins after a workout?

During intensive workouts I take Amino Fuel (TwinLabs) I don't know how much it actually helps but I take it as food supplement evry now and then. I try to stay in good shape and my body weight hasen't changed the last 10 years or so.

I take 1-a-Day equivalent from Brooks Pharmacy.

Why doi I take them? Because my GF buys them and in her opinion I need it because i skip lunch 😱.

Omega-3s (autoimmune diseases) (flaxseed oil, fish oil)
Good multivitamin (NatureMade, to make up for any bad dietary choices)
Glu/Chond/MSM (NatureMade Triple-Flex, for some kind of arthritis, maybe psoriatic)
Sam-E (NaturMade, ditto, plus some depression)
Sometimes some aminos (like CLA, GLA, etc, for help with weight loss, muscle regeneration after excercise)

Some people take aspirin for their workouts.
Aspirin blocks a group of enzymes that synthesize prostaglandins, which are hormones that assist in pain, inflammation and blood clotting. The thing is this hormone also helps maintain the stomach lining which is why this practice can lead to stomach problems.

As for me i use

R & L Health Whey Protein (1-2 shakes a day - 20g)
L-Glutamine Powder on workout days (5g scoop in my shake)
I also use Wheatgrass tablets dissolved into water (once every 2 days).
I drink green tea most nights as well.

Why do you take 2 acetominophen in the morning and 2 aspirins after a workout?

I take the acet in the morning to help ease my soreness from working out the day before... If I'm feeling good in the morning with no aches and pains (usually back) I won't take it... I also don't want to overdo it on the aspirin so I take acet instead. I take the aspirin before my workouts for scientific reasons Krakerjak stated, it basically thins your blood allowing for greater oxygen transport, enhances the effect of ephedra, and reduces inflammation on my injured elbow.

Soon I'm going to switch to a different brand of protein shake, only seeing minimal gains with the EAS. On the flipside, I just repped easily with 110 lbs. dumbbells yesterday for chest so the shakes are probably doing more good than bad!

EDIT: For those who take Flax Seed Oil, where do u buy it? I can't find it at any supermarket?

I take centrum, flax seed oil and sometime b vitamin supplements.

centrum is for general vitamins and minerals. Of course I don't most of them but some of the mineral you need in trace amounts b/c they are co-enzymes in many biochemical reactions. Basically I get expensive pee but some of it I need.

Flax seed oil for omega 3&6 fatty acids. Very good for your heart and arteries.

B Vitamins b/c I get stressed sometimes and they help my immune system stay healthy.
