What vitamins do you take?

I'm curious as to the supplements users are taking here. Personally I'm taking vitamin E, a multivitamni and Zinc on a daily basis. Have been for about a week and a half, and eating properly, I feel much better than I did a month ago.

Multi-vitamin, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Vitamin B12, Folic Acid, Calcium/Magnesium/Zinc, Fish Oil, Garlic, Gingko Biloba, Saw Palmetto, Policosanol, selenium, lutein, and Grape Seed Extract.

For you guys taking zinc, how much do you take a day?

I'm currently at 50mg, I've heard that you shouldn't take more than this though.

I take 25 mg of zinc. Zinc itself is safe but it competes for aborbtion with other minerals, especially copper, manganese and iron. Taking more than 200 mg/day may cause a deficiency im these minerals.

I take one tablet with Zinc, magnesium, and calcium (25mg/400 mg/1000 mg).

Magenesium is the hearts most important mineral and 80% of Americans don't get enough of it.

Oh, yeah, I also take 5 - 10 g of glutamine first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and a protein shake (20 g of protein) with breakfast (oatmeal, flaxseed, and kiwi).

multivitamin and omega 3 fish oil (anchovie, sardine and salmon)

not sure if either of them have a positive effect on my health but I haven't noticed anything bad 😉

Wow.. What's with you guys taking a multivitamin PLUS others, and all that hippie stuff like flax oil? I usually forget, but I used to take Centrum until today. I bought Men's One a Day yesterday.
