I have had my macbook air for probably 6 months now and I just remember that I haven't once deleted history, virus scan, spam ware scan etc etc, and it still runs like a dream.

I figure I still need to turn these types of software once in a while right? Do you guys have any recommendations? I prefer something that is free of course.

I've had my Macbook Pro since 2008 and have never once used Virus or Spamware software. There isn't any bloatware either?

I don't use any on my MBP 2008 either. Though I also don't run anything in windows either. Every so often i'll install malwarebytes and avg, but they never find anything so i pull em back off and go another 6 months. But as for mac, REALLY no need imo.

You're in danger, my friend.

You need to get an optical drive, plug it into your Macbook Air, go buy a copy of Windows 7, put the disk into the optical drive, run Applications > Utilities > Bootcamp, follow instructions, and when you get into Windows, buy all of the antivirus softwares that you can randomly find on the first page of Google, then open them all up and run deep scan on each one, one at a time, 10 times!

But seriously, there's just no need.
