What virus software to use?

I am responsible for setting up four new machines at an office that works with my organization. Since these computers will be connected to the Internet, we want to ensure that we have the proper virus protection installed on them. After researching some virus software, I am looking for some advice on which application I should install.

Basically, the software should update itself automatically, and it should not be easy for a user to uninstall or disable.

The one package that I reall like is OfficeScan, but it appears as though the minimum purchase for the version that we want is 25 users, and I am only purchasing it for four machines.

Symantec offers 5-user packs for its Small Business Antivirus and its Norton Antivirus 2003. However, I am unsure if these packages are easily uninstalled and how long the licenses last.

I appreciate any input.

If the symantec software includes their 'system center console' then you're set. You can set it to where it can't be disabled or uninstalled without a password. Setup LiveUpdate properly for the definitions and you'll never have to see or touch the PC's again.

What about Norton AV Corporate? The Corporate edition gives you free updates forever doesn't it? It has server and client software too, but I don't really know how you use it... 😱 The NAV Corporate client is simple and straight forward. I think the admin can set how often or when LiveUpdate updates.

This would be my first choice, but I am not sure if a 5-user license can be purchased.
