What video game was this..

I vaguely remember having a video game when I was pretty young that involved the VCR, and the game itself was some guy in a jet. As I said I was really young and its kind of a blurry memory. Anyone have any idea what I am talking about? I can't even remember if it was interactive in any way.

Thanks!

some guy in a jet? are you sure you weren't watching Top Gun or something? 🙂

Commander Keen maybe?

heh, no. I am sure my sister would remember, she is a little older and remembers everything about her childhood while my memory begins around age 10 😕

I think Hammer might be right, if it's a "game" where you watched a VHS tape but then had a light gun (and I think some funky goggles/glasses?) to shoot at the baddies.

Oh the memories.

Was the VCR used to play tapes you mean, or there was a VCR in the game?

There was a system called the Action Max which used the VCR.

Thats It, thanks!

Edit: The game was called "sonic fury"

Yup, Sonic Fury. POS system. Got it at Kay-Bee when they were on clearance back in the 80s. Had 3 or 4 games for it. Complete suck.

Had forgotten about it actually, thanks for reminding me of it 😛
