I am just curious, I have most of my DVD's backed, so if my son manages to get them, I will have an extra copy. The ones I backed upw ith DVDshirnk seem to play ont he xbox fine. But some of mine where made with AutoGK, which puts the movie in an AVI format, and I don't think the xbox can read it. SO what formats can I change them to to play on the xbox?

Whats the right forum exactly? I suppose you could say general hardware, but I feel that is more computer related then console related. But given a choice between the 2, I chose OT, since it gets more traffic. I appoligize for disturbing you, and you thanky ou for your help, Oh wait a minute...

So DVDshirnk still makes it into a strandard MPEG2 compliant DVD? It just compresses it further? It doesn't matter anyway really, I just remembered I can just redo those ones using DVDshrink.

More traffic here, ah. Ok so shall we all post our hardware/software related questions here then? On top of there being two obviously better-suited forums for it, there are alaready approximately 100 threads in each one you could have asked this in.
