What video format to use?

When I record vidio on my TV card, I have a choice of
MPEG2 2.0 MBit/sec
MPEG2 2.0 MBit/sec(HalfD1)
MPEG2 12 MBit/sec
MPEG2 12 MBit/sec (CBR)
In Vegas Studio it just gives the choice of MPEG2
Which one should I choose so it doesn't take so long for Vegas to render it?
