hi.. just wanna know whats the LEAST video card (ati or nvidia) dat would be able to RUN through all the benchmark tests in 3D MARK 2001 SE???? mine now is Geforce2 GTS but im not able to run NATURE,Pixel Shader tests so im planning to get a new video card just to view them.... so help me god!! 🙂

Any Direct X 8+ video card (GeForce 3 Series, Radeon 8500 Series ) and faster cards will run all of the benchmarks.

(Weee my 500th post) 😀

A GeForce4 Ti 4200 would run them all and would be around the price of a GeForce3, not to mention faster.

Whatcha gonna do when the DX9 3DMark2003 is released?

:Q

A sub-$100 Radeon 8500LE will do the trick and is (still) a pretty good card for the reasonably near future.

According to Pricewatch
GeForce4 TI 4200 64mb $113
GeForce3 TI 200 128mb $94

Cheapest GeForce3 TI 500 card listed is $206 but that just doesn't sound reasonable.

I think it's safe to say that the GeForce4 TI 4200 64mb would be a better choice than the GeForce3 TI200 128mb for an extra $20. If the budget won't allow $113, then a plain vanilla GeForce3 could be found for less.
