I'm wondering how many of you use SLI boards, Crossfire boards, multi boards, and how many of you prefer SLI, Crossfire or single setups. Post here, and cast your vote in the poll. With the current video card's coming out, I presume some will go with the extreme performance dual GTX480 route while many others will continue with crossfire boards or simply single cards. What do you think you will opt for, will you stick to your current setup or motherboard for a while? Do you think you can stay safe with a single card solution?

Missing option: crossfire *AND* SLI capable motherboard, single GPU. That's what I prefer and am running.

All X58 (and X55? H55?) boards can support both, and I have yet to see a board with those chipsets without at least two PCIEx16 slots. Whether the bios enables SLI is the only question.

I have a crossfire board and had 2 5750's but decided I didn't need all that horsepower and sold 1.
Waiting for the dust to settle and price drops.

Agreed. X58 supporting both was a big reason for the upgrade for me.

I prefer to have options.

X58 board but only one 5870....for now. We'll see what fermi does for the market before going sli or cf depending on price:performance. Most likely means another 5870.

I guess my P55 is a Crossfire motherboard, and my GTX285 is a single card.

My main rig is in my sig, and it's the first time I have gone for even one card at that price, let alone 2. All my others have 1

P45 Crossfire motherboard with single GPU, going Crossfire next week (I received an HD 4870 1GB with corrupt bios for free from a relative!!, will fix it) But probably will sell both and buy an HD 5870, almost same performance with much less power consumption and heat dissipation.

Single slot and single card obviously.

I'm probably going to stick to mATX boards if they offer the same features minus crossfire/SLI for a lesser cost.
