OK, I am going with 1 GTX 590 EVGA Classified, 1 i7 990z or 2600k Over clocked, 8 or 12GB 1600 Ram, 1 120GB to 160GB SSD, 1 2TB HDD, 1 DL Reader / Writer, 1 BD Reader / Writer, Coolmaster HAF-X, and the best mobo and psu for this setup. Also I want the system to run quite but I dont want water cooling. How should I do this? Cyberpowerpc? Custom Build?

Just a note about 3DTV. Due to HDMI limitations when using 3DTV you will only get a max of 30fps each eye (60hz) at 720p. 1080p will limit you to 24fps per eye or 48hz refresh rate. So getting more than 60fps is not necessary if you are looking to use 3DTV. If you're actually thinking about using a 120hz LCD, then of course disregard this info.

And on the Crysis 2 on a tv. I haven't tried it but I have tried BFBC2 and Homefront using 3DTV. Not great, the 3D is good but the fps per eye is too low and makes it hard to play without screwing up your eyes.

at 720p you get 60fps each eye

No you don't. You get 2 options for 3DTV, 720p 60hz or 1080p 48hz. Half the refresh rate and you have your effective fps per eye.

I'd still go nuts on the hardware for your PC as it's always nice to have more power for future games etc. Just trying to warn you before you go diving in to 3DTV expecting over 30fps per eye. 3DTV is good (I have a 120hz Viewsonic LCD and a Panny Viera 3D) and the 3D effect is far better on the Viera, but the low frame rate is quite noticeable coming from the 120hz LCD.

i did research, 3dtvs accept 720p at 120Hz or 60 frames per eye, while 1080p accepts 60Hz, 30 frames per eye

I had to go double check to make sure I wasn't misremembering things (I only set up 3DTV play some weekends) and there is a ton of misinformation out there with regards to refresh rates and 3D.

So here's the Nvidia 3DTV Play FAQ.
3DTV FAQ on Resolutions supported

There seems to be some info out there that says because each frame is essentially doubled (ie shown twice) you are getting an effective 60hz per eye. This doesn't get over the fact that you are still only showing half as many frames as a 120hz implementation and you may see stuttering/jerkiness in games. Trust me, fire up Crysis 2 when you do, look around quickly and prepare to go cross eyed.

Also you can get 1080p 60hz if you use iz3d or DDD but they use checkerboard so you're technically getting 960*1080 instead of 1920*1080 resolution. For the extra 6hz per eye, the loss of quality wasn't worth it for me.

Not trying to be a prick, there is just so little reliable info out there on 3D, I'd thought I'd step in and try to at least clear up this one for you.

Good point, also I remember reading some of the 2010 3DTV(s) (including the Samsung) can't process checkboard input, but this may change for the 2011 models.

I just want 60fps per eye in 3d crysis 2 1080p!?!??! :(

Johnny, regardless of what you "want" in terms of fps per eye in Crysis 2, in this case 60fps per eye, I can tell you right now that even 35fps per eye is satisfactory. Right now I am using a single GTX590 (second one on the way) to run Crysis 2 across 3 22" 3D screens for 3D Surround at the games HIGHEST settings. Even across 3 screens at a resolution of 5320 x 1050 in 3D, my frames are NEVER below 30fps. Usually range from 35 to 55 up and down depending on action/scenery etc.

It may depend on what 3dTV you have as well and may not offer the ability for 60hz per eye at 1080P.
