Hi, I want to know what's a good video card for cad work and 3D... I know that when you render, the video card doesn't make a difference, so it's only in the viewports and when you're actually working that it makes a difference. My dad is asking me to put together a new system for him and he thinks he needs 64 megs of video memory. I know that when I do some 3DSMAX stuff with my radeon I'm fine and good to go. I think he wants a GeForce 3, but he doens't want to spend that much money, so he might want a GeForce 2. I want to know what card is good for CAD and 3D work and why. Thanks.
